Vision Boarding Workshop

A vision board is a creative and powerful tool used in manifestation honoring what we want to create in our lives and how we want to live; a reminder of our focus. In this workshop with teaching artist Patricia Blanco, participants will create their own vision boards. If you would like, you can bring collected pictures of people, places, things, perhaps small objects, inspiring notes or quotes that hold meaning. We will also provide images and materials from other sources. No experience necessary.
Winter Break Workshop for Kids (K-3rd grade)

Looking for something engaging for your kid to do while school is out? Have your child join us for Winter Workshop for Kids on Presidents Day! They will explore a variety of art-making methods and materials with their favorite Garrison Art Center teaching artists. Our in-person program for kindergarteners-3rd graders will take place in our studios at Garrison Art Center. Please have your child bring lunch, a snack, a water bottle, and coats/clothes for going outside. Price includes all materials.
Gelli Plate Printing Workshop

Ever wanted to try gelli printing? Wondering what it is? Gelli plate printing uses a gelatin plate to press or print an image onto paper. Come experiment with nature prints and image transfers using this method! We provide the materials, you only need to bring images either from a magazine, or that have been made in a copier, or newspaper images (the teacher will also have some on hand as well!) Teaching artist Ada Pilar Cruz will bring a variety of natural materials including leaves, bark, and fan coral, and will lead you in this process! No experience needed.
Inventing Stories in Paint Workshop
