NEW CLASS!
Enjoy some social printmaking in a class with some refreshments, discussion, mini projects to make, and one final fun group printmaking project. Explore different printmaking methods in Garrison Art Center’s fully equipped print studio and have fun while doing it! Learn basic pronto-plate lithography, lino-cut, stenciling combined with mixed materials to make your own art postcards, cards, zines, or posters. Explore the concept of making multiple prints to communicate with a small or large community and see how artists have used printmaking for political and community causes through art postcards, posters of the ‘60s and ’70s, and more. Wine and seltzer will be available, and students are encouraged to bring their own nibbles to share. This class includes a fee for basic materials and is open to adults of all skill levels. All printmaking classes come with 2 hours a week of Open Studio access.
We believe art should be accessible to all. Financial assistance is available for those that qualify
