Grab an artichoke or an onion and discover the art of printmaking with vegetables! It's amazing to see the wonderful patterns you can create using items from the produce section at the grocery store or the farmers' market. In this fun and informative workshop, you will be given the tools and guidance to make your very own vegetable-printed apron. This can make a fantastic hostess gift or keep it for yourself! Apron and vegetables are provided but feel free to bring your own vegetables to experiment with as well.

Each Creative Happy Hour features a professional teaching artist leading a project, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and a chance to be creative in a special place. When possible, our galleries will be open during this event, so you also have the opportunity to take in the latest exhibition. No previous art experience is needed; it's just the desire to relax and have fun!

This workshop is only for individuals 21 years of age and older.

This is not just your run-of-the-mill tie-dye!

Geode dyeing is a very fun technique where you tie and dye fabric in such a way that it ends up looking like a geode rock formation; anything from small polka dots to large concentric circles. This technique uses a length of cord bound around a bundle of fabric, creating a great diversity of different shapes that come out so amazingly beautiful!

Each participant will receive two pillowcases to dye and bring home.
