Children's Pottery
with Renee Curci Ivanoff

Two different days available
Instructor will guide young artists through the techniques of building with clay: pinch, slab and coil. Students will be introduced to the pottery wheel during the first block. Students who enroll in the second block will continue their work on the wheel.
For children ages 7-12.
Family Clay Studio
with Renee Curci Ivanoff

For kids from 7 to 17 plus you, their family member! Set a date with your child, niece, nephew, or friend, and join us on Saturday mornings. Have fun creating, exploring, and working with clay together. Family Clay Studio is a wonderful way to share and create with clay. You’ll work together learning how to hand-build, throw on the wheel, glaze, and learn a bit about the kiln. Your glazed and fired pieces will be your clay treasures to take home. Class runs for 8 weeks and includes materials and firing fees.
This class is for families ONLY, not for individuals. Price is by the individual, please purchase a spot for each family member. When registering adults; please make a child account for yourself and use "Your Name+Adult" (example: SarahAdult) and set a fake birthdate.
NEW! Travel the World (kids 8-11 years old)

Two different days available
Come visit different parts of the world and explore all kinds of art with us! Kids will travel the globe from Ghana to China, Australia to Canada, Mexico to India, and still be home in time for dinner. We will be experimenting with pointillism, using symmetry to create mandalas, creating stamps and patterned cloth, and much, much more! Each week teaching artist Pam Koeber-Deibboll will introduce a representative artist from each culture for reference and lead the students in a project. In addition, we will discuss the issue of “cultural appropriation” and consider methods for being respectful when experimenting with art processes that have significant importance for native peoples.
This class is for children 8-11 years old of all skill levels. There will be different projects/cultures covered in each section, so feel free to sign up for both! There is a materials fee included in the tuition for this course.

For kids from 6 to 16 plus you, their family member! Set a date with your child, niece, nephew, or friend, and join us on Sunday mornings. Have fun creating, exploring, and working with fibers and textiles together. Family Fiber Studio is a wonderful way to share and create. You’ll work together learning how to felt, weave, macrame, and more. Projects like felted eggs and woven pot holders will be your treasures to take home. Class runs for 8 weeks and there is a materials fee included in the tuition for this course.
