Summer Pottery Pass
with GAC Team
![Calendar](https://d9j5qtehtodpj.cloudfront.net/images/icons/color-calendar.png?version=205869)
The Summer Pottery Pass is only available to students who have been enrolled in a Garrison Art Center adult pottery class in 2023 or 2024.
Summer Pottery Passes are back again!
How does it work?
One Summer Pottery Pass allows you to attend 4 of our supervised open studio sessions this summer. These supervised open studio sessions will have one of our teachers available for assistance. It’s less structured than a formal class but provides more guidance than our typical open studio hours. The teacher is on hand to serve as a resource, but will not be leading a traditionally structured class. Each session is 3 hours long, and 3 different time slots are available each week.
When does it start?
Summer pottery studio availability will begin July 7 and run through August 29. There will be a short break before our regular fall classes start in early September.
What times/days are available?
We will be having supervised open studio sessions on Sundays 1:30pm-4:30pm, Mondays 6:00pm-9:00pm, and Thursdays 6:30pm - 9:30pm.
Do I have to come on the same day/time each week?
No! You can sign up for multiple sessions in the same week, and skip a week (or more!) whenever you like. Since these aren't classes, there is more flexibility in the scheduling.
How do I schedule my sessions?
Lisa will be handling the scheduling. Once you have purchased your Summer Pottery Pass, contact lisa@garrisonartcenter.org with which days/times you would like to come. We will be limiting the number of people in each session, so you must sign up ahead of time for the sessions you want to attend.
We cannot accommodate students who show up without signing up first.
4 sessions aren’t enough for me! Can I buy more than one pass?
Sure! Feel free to get as many Summer Pottery Passes as you like. Each pass grants you the ability to attend 4 supervised open studio sessions.
Can anyone get a Summer Pottery Pass and use the studio?
The Summer Pottery Pass is only available to students who have been enrolled in a Garrison Art Center adult pottery class in 2023 or 2024.
