with Renee Curci Ivanoff
New for this fall, we are pleased to offer a pottery class just for teens!
This class will provide a break from the stress of middle and high school and serve as an excellent place to nurture their inner selves while learning all aspects of ceramics. Students will focus on developing skills in wheel throwing, hand building, surface design, and glazing.
No experience required! Teenagers at all levels of experience can be accommodated in our small classes. For teens ages 13 and up.
NEW! Take it from the Top! Refashioning the Tee for Teens
with Mary Helen Davis
In this class we will explore fashion design with a focus on the ubiquitous tee shirt. By cutting, shaping, embellishing and redesigning the most common wardrobe staple, we will learn sewing and patterning skills. Cotton jersey t-shirt material lends itself to a range of clothing, so each week students can take on different types of garments from the perspective of eco-friendly designing. Take your sketches off the page and try them on in Re-Fashioning the Tee! No experience required. Teenagers at all levels of experience can be accommodated in our small classes. For teens ages 13 and up.
Students will bring their own sewing machines. If you need help finding one to rent, please contact us at email@example.com
