In this introductory setting, you’ll learn the fundamentals of working with molten beeswax, damar resin, and pigments to create beautiful, textured compositions. Explore basic encaustic techniques, including layering, fusing, mark-making, and image transfers. Whether you’re new to art or seeking to expand your skills, join us for a hands-on exploration of this ancient and versatile medium. This class is for adults and mature teens of all skill levels, and all materials are included.

This class is scheduled to be in our print studio, which is only accessible by stairs.
