Discover the art and versatility of needle-felt art by painting with wool. This introductory course will teach you what tools and supplies you need to start a 2-D felt painting. Students will learn the wool sketch method to block in their art, color mix wool to get the best colors for their work, and detailing to bring their pieces to life. Registered students are encouraged to bring a picture of a simple scene, portrait, or still-life image or use images provided in class. Art will be 8” x 10” so that artwork can be completed during class time. This class is for adults and mature teens of all skill levels, and all materials are included.
