Story Time Studio
with Kat Boss
In this class for children ages 7 to 11, booklovers will craft their own mini picture book with a story and style of their design. Taking a closer look at favorite children’s books, ones in the studio and brought from home, artists will consider what processes were used, how it works together with the story’s words, and what kind of story they would like to share.
This class is scheduled to be in our print studio, which is only accessible by stairs.
Our class/workshop cancellation policy can be found here.
We believe art should be accessible to all. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.

Experimental Printmaking: Playful Processes
This class will give intermediate to advanced students the chance to learn new techniques, break the rules of printmaking, and experiment to create unique pieces. Exploration and pushing the boundaries of printmaking is the goal here, all while building technique and confidence. This class would have a demonstration of a given technique at the beginning of each class, with the opportunity for students to work on this technique, or a past technique shown in classes prior/they have experience in. Students will be encouraged to use unique materials and find materials that would otherwise become trash (scrap paper, onion bag netting, etc).
This class is for adults and mature teenagers of all skill levels and includes 6 hours a week of open studio time. All materials are included.
