Join Dani Locastro a professional artist and yoga educator (E-RYT500/YACEP) for a unique experience of integrative yoga and meditation in the gallery. Dani’s creative approach to many types of yoga is steeped in yoga philosophy, anatomy, art therapeutics, and meditation so that these tools for healthy living can move with you and help you to live a balanced life physically, mentally, and creatively.  

This class is designed to be accessible to all ages and abilities. Dani will work with you in coming to meet yourself in somatic movement, simple poses and breath techniques to lead us to mindful meditation using the art exhibition as part of an integrated approach to wholeness. 

Expect to feel connected and grounded within yourself and a little more open to the creative energy within you.

We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing and silence your phone or devices for this program to get the most out of this mindfulness practice. Yoga props will be supplied but mats are limited, so students are encouraged to bring their own. No prior experience with yoga or meditation is necessary – all are welcome!

In this beginner-friendly needle felt workshop, you'll be guided step by step on how to make a sweet pumpkin decor out of wool. You'll learn core shaping, wool blending, fiber attachment, smoothing, and detailing. A popular and fun project that gives you a beautiful and unique piece appropriate for the season. This workshop is for adults and mature teens of all skill levels, and all materials are included.

No needles needed in this felting project. Use water, soap, and hand agitation to transform loose wool into a fabric sculpture. Learn essential wet felting skills with a resist, along with wool properties and why water, soap, and agitation magically make fiber durable. You'll be left with a 3-D sculpt to use as a vessel or a decorative conversation piece. This workshop is for adults and mature teens of all skill levels, and all materials are included.
