Open Studio for Seniors
with Beth Bohrer
This class is designed for senior students who are self-motivated and have their own projects to work on. Instructor will be working on their own piece, for students to observe and to be inspired by. Students are encouraged to bring in their own reference photos to work from. Pastels will be available for use; all other materials need to be supplied by the student.
Students are encouraged to bring a lunch or snack for a half-hour break during the class.
Our class/workshop cancellation policy can be found here.
We believe art should be accessible to all. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
Visiting Artist Workshop for Adults
with Mara Baldwin
Join us for a free workshop with Visiting Artist Mara Baldwin! This adult workshop will focus on observational and interpretive drawing, combining watercolor and colored pencil techniques in a session on botanical illustration. Participants will explore the relationship between observation, memory, and improvisation—echoing themes in Baldwin’s exhibition and offering creative tools accessible to all skill levels.
This workshop is offered free of charge as part of Garrison Art Center's Visiting Artist program. Please notify us immediately if you can no longer attend so we may offer your spot to another community member.
