Mosaic Community Project
with Ellen Dinerman

Join Us for a Centennial Community Mosaic Project for Cold Spring’s Butterfield Library!
In celebration of the Butterfield Library’s 100th anniversary, we’re inviting the community to come together and create something lasting and beautiful—a collaborative mosaic that reflects the spirit of Cold Spring.
This fall, Garrison Art Center will host a series of workshops open to teens, adults, and seniors of all skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned artist or a curious beginner, your ideas and creativity are welcome. We are thrilled to be working with artist and educator Ellen Dinerman, who will help guide this project.
Participants will be working collaboratively on a single mosaic piece that will be permanently installed at the library—not on individual works. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a shared piece of public art that will celebrate the community for generations to come.
Sessions will be offered on both Mondays and Wednesdays. You are welcome to sign up for either day or both—whatever works best for your schedule.
There is no session on October 1 + 13.
This class is scheduled to be in our print studio, which is only accessible by stairs.
Our class/workshop cancellation policy can be found here.
We believe art should be accessible to all. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
