Watercolors Turbo for Intermediate Students
with Greta Corens
Land and Sea in Winter
In the Winter 2025 session, we paint watercolor scenes in the Transparent Warm Palettes and the Opaque Winter Palettes.
This session of 5 classes broadens the knowledge of Watercolor painting with new color challenges and technical demands. The intermediate artist expands and perfects acquired skills when introduced to novel color schemes and techniques to render colorful fall landscapes and icy winter scenes. We apply all known and new skills to painting nature when rendering from photographs on larger-size paper while we aim to develop a coherent and unique artistic quality. This stage of intensive exercises and accumulated knowledge intends to free us from technical demands so that we can begin to focus on finessing details and composition. Materials are not included; the teaching artist will reach out to all new students with a list of recommended watercolor supplies. Not sure if this level class is right for you? Send us an email! This class is for intermediate-level adults and mature teens.
This class is scheduled to be in our print studio, which is only accessible by stairs.
Our class/workshop cancelation policy can be found here.
We believe art should be accessible to all. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify.
